Implants

A dental implant is a titanium post that is inserted into your jaw to act as an anchor for a replacement tooth. 

If a dental implant is required, we will refer you to either an oral surgeon or periodontist who will place the titanium post in the correct position. In our dental laboratory we will create the crown, bridge or dentures that are used to replicate the tooth/teeth being replaced. Finally, a treatment plan will be created by your dentist and the team will arrange all necessary appointments to complete the procedure. 

The process from implant to replacement tooth can take 3 - 6 months depending on what is required. After the consultation, your dentist will be able to give you a more specific timeframe.
